All aboard the Pineapple Express

Premiered this weekend, Pineapple Express (starring Seth Rogen and James Franco) is a must see for anyone who loved Superbad or looking to have some good laughs. Don't expect any deep plot lines or life-changing epiphany's after seeing this movie, and it's not really geared towards the older crowd (50+) but I definitely reccommend going to check it out. James Franco and Seth Rogen are a good comedic team and its sure to become a cult favorite. If you look at the numbers, its proving to be a hit.

Larger Than Life at the IMAX

So, I've never really been a big movie buff, and certainly not enough to take a drive down to the IMAX in Atlantic City to see a movie(located in the Quarter at the Tropicana), but I did make the drive down to go see the new Batman movie and I am glad I did! It was the first time I saw the movie, and it was unbelievable on the IMAX (I've read that some scenes were made just for IMAX screens). I definitely suggest taking a ride down there- ticket prices weren't bad and although it was a little crowded, it was still a pretty comfortable movie-going experience. Just make sure you get there early so you don't get stuck in the front seats with a major neckache.
It's great for a rainy day, or a night out. You can make an event out of it and go for dinner at one of the restaurants in the Quarter, maybe do some shopping and gambling? The possibilites are endless.. it's AC, baby!
